Vancouver Cottage is an idyllic stone-built detached cottage, originally formed from three smaller cottages and perfectly positioned in the exclusive, tranquil setting of The Valley in Sandsend, elevated behind St Mary’s Church.
Lovingly restored and thoughtfully designed, this spacious retreat blends period charm with modern luxury, creating a welcoming coastal escape for families and groups alike. Sleeping up to ten guests, it offers generous accommodation throughout and a warm, characterful atmosphere.
At the heart of the home is a large kitchen and dining space, complete with an Aga, separate gas/electric cooker, hand-finished units, and granite worktops. A separate utility room and laundry area provide added convenience. The ground floor also includes a walk-in wet room and cloakroom, while the lounge offers ample comfortable seating and a cosy log fire for cooler evenings.
Upstairs, all bedrooms are located on the first floor. The layout includes a spacious king-size master bedroom, a second king-size bedroom, a twin room, and a family room with a double bed, single bed, and truckle bed. Each room is finished with crisp white linen and a focus on comfort and calm.
The property also features two spacious bathrooms, including one with a beautiful freestanding roll-top bath.
Outside, Vancouver Cottage enjoys a private garden with patio and hot tub, offering a peaceful space to relax and unwind.
