Mulgrave Lodge is a charming detached stone-built cottage set within the exclusive Valley in Sandsend. Full of character and original features, this beautifully presented retreat enjoys a peaceful streamside setting surrounded by nature.
Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms, combining traditional charm with modern comforts. Original beamed ceilings and a wood-burning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.
To the rear, a large private enclosed garden features a decked patio area with outdoor seating and a hot tub — an ideal space to relax and unwind. Sandsend beach and the village amenities are just a short walk through the valley.

Nest of wooden tables. Enjoy your favourite movie in front of the wood burning stove Smart TV. Dining table and chairs, wooden sideboard with drawers a lovely versatile room to relax in after a day of exploring.
Kitchen: A well equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs set off from the lounge dining room.
2 steps up from the lounge lead to:
Storage cupboard: Coat hanging and shoe store. Iron and ironing board.
Family Bathroom: Modern bathroom, bath, handheld shower over bath, washbasin, toilet, and heated towel rail.
Shower Room: Large corner shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet, and heated towel rail.
2 steps down lead to:
Master Bedroom: (Ground floor) King-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and stool.
Stairs from the lounge lead to:
Bedroom 2: Twin divan beds with drawers beneath for storage, bedside table and lamp. Free standing mirror, tub chair, padded storage bench. Velux windows overlooking the garden. (Please note the height is limited in this room due to the nature of the room)
Garden: A pretty planted rockery to the front of the property, To the rear of the property offer a large private enclosed garden with a hot tub with a decking area with garden furniture & parasol. Garden is accessed via pathway and gate at the side of the property.

TV: Please note due to the unique valley and woodland location of the cottages, on occasion a terrestrial signal with any consistency may be intermittent and in some cases, not at all.
In all Mulgrave Estate holiday cottages you will find smart TVs and we would ask that you utilise the likes of BBC iPlayer to watch both live TV and of course, to access catch up.
Notes: Please note due to the nature of second bedroom being in the loft area, headroom height is limited in areas including Velux windows.
