TV: Please note due to the unique location of the cottages, on occasion a terrestrial signal with any consistency may be intermittent and in some cases, not at all.

A lovely fortnight was spent (mostly) in the sunshine exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and Coast. Particular highlights were the surf school at Whitby, the beach at Scarborough and the food at Sandsend Fish Cottage. Lythe Rose was a lovely and pristine base for our holiday and the hot tub meant the children were always keen to return at the end of the day. A fabulous week, fortnight or weekend destination. Thank you Team Mulgrave!
The Cs - July 2021
We had a fantastic week in Rose Cottage. It has everything needed for a holiday base. We enjoyed visiting York, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes and Whitby. The Sea Angling Trip was a highlight, as was fossil hunting (the beach north of Sandsend (past the headland) at low tide) was the best for fossils). Runswick Bay has a lovely beach but a steep walk back to the car park afterwards. p.s. The hot tub was a bonus!
The L's - July
Its the second time we have stayed with Mulgrave Estate in the past year. Considering it was a last minute booking, we have to say this cottage hasn't disappointed. Real home from home feeling; even for an anzious 3 year old. As always the Mulgrave welcome pack was a nice touch and was very welcome after arriving late with nothing to eat and drink! Loved the guaranteed private parking at the end of the day when we came back to relax. Thank you all of the Mulgrave Team for a very enjoyable holiday and once again a gem of a cottage.

The H's - September
An enjoyable stay here in sunny Lythe. Surprisingly warm all weekend so lots of walking, (& running – including up Lythe Bank!!) visited Whitby & Saltburn with many places in-between. Enjoyed a take-out from Fish Cottage in Sandsend – was good & they have a pre-order service. The Cottage is delightful, especially the hot-tub after a day’s walking. So really enjoyed our fifth stay in a Mulgrave Cottage – we hope to be back very soon.
