Entrance: Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a lounge area, which can also be used as a second bedroom thanks to a comfortable double futon bed. A wood-burning stove provides warmth and creates a natural divide between the lounge and the main bedroom.
Kitchen: The well-equipped kitchen is powered by bottled gas and includes a gas cooker, kettle, plates, pots, pans, cutlery, and everything needed for a self-catering stay. As Barnby Dales is completely off-grid, there is no refrigerator, so guests are advised to bring a cool box for perishable items if required.
Lounge / Bedroom: The main bedroom offers a king-size bed and additional seating, creating a relaxing and comfortable space to unwind beside the warmth of the wood burner.
Bathroom: The bathroom is located in an adjacent lean-to and includes: Shower cubicle ( with hot water), Toilet, Wash basing with a cold water tap. (Hot water is supplied by a gas boiler)
Conservatory: Leading from the bedroom is a spacious conservatory surrounded by windows, allowing guests to take in the spectacular coastal and countryside views. Furnished with seating and a table, it is an ideal spot for relaxing, reading, painting, or simply enjoying the scenery.
Garden: Outside, an enclosed garden surrounds the property, offering a private outdoor space for guests and their dogs.
Parking: Parking for your vehicle is provided at Westfields Farm. The property you are staying at is 0.3 miles from the farm site, roughly a 9 minute walk. The track to the property is through open fields and gates and the ground is uneven, therefore it would generally not suit a standard car and a 4x4 would be more suited. Depending on the weather, if dry, you may drive to the property to unpack then return your car to the farm. In wet weather please leave car at the farm and walk to the property with your belongings.
Dog-Friendly: A maximum of two dogs are welcome. Guests must bring own dog beds/blankets/equipment etc. Dogs are charged at £8.00 per dog per night. As the property is situated on a working farm with livestock, dogs must be kept on a lead when walking nearby.
