Welcome to the luxury holiday cottages on the Mulgrave Estate. A selection of beautiful properties situated in the picturesque coastal village of Sandsend, Lythe & Goldsborough. The cottages are a unique blend of traditional beauty and charm with modern luxuries. These hidden gems are well equipped and are all finished to the highest of standards. Each delightful cottage is pet friendly and offers free WiFi, parking and private gardens, many with hot tubs and wood burners.

The cottages sit in the heart of the exclusive and tranquil valley of Sandsend, we also have three cottages at nearby Lythe and The Old Guardhouse is located in open countryside near Goldsborough.  All close to the historic fishing port of Whitby with it's cobbled streets, abbey and 199 steps.

Sandsend is the ideal resort for families, having beautiful sandy beaches, beach cafés, independent shops, deli and some great eateries including Fish Cottage and Mary's Sandwich Shop.

Mulgrave Woods are nearby, with tracks to explore by permission of the Estate. The Woods are open every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, with the exception of the whole month of May.

The beach at Sandsend stretches for approximately 4 miles and is ideal for families to enjoy throughout the year. The village of Sandsend still retains its character from years gone by and offers an array of amenities for visitors.

Close by, the North York Moors Steam Railway runs from Whitby to Pickering. The route takes you through stunning scenery, with the opportunity to get off and explore the area.
